PAIA Manual
Prepared in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, No 2 of 2000 ("PAIA")
1. Introduction
This manual is published in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000) ("PAIA"). PAIA gives effect to the provisions of Section 32 of the Constitution, which provides for the right of access to information held by the State and to information held by another person that is required for the exercise and/or protection of any right.
The reference to any information in addition to that specifically required in terms of Section 51 of PAIA does not create any right or entitlement (under PAIA or otherwise) to receive such information, other than in terms of PAIA.

3. The Information Officer

4. Guide of the SAHRC
The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has compiled a guide to help people exercise their rights under PAIA. This guide is available from the SAHRC. Any queries regarding this guide can be directed to:

5. Records Available
We hold the following categories of records:
- Company Records: Registration documents, financial records, operational records.
- Client Records: Client mandates, FICA documentation, transaction records, communication logs.
- Employee Records: Employment contracts, payroll records, disciplinary records.
- Website Records: User data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
* Note: Access to some records may be restricted in terms of PAIA or other legislation, such as the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
6. Request Procedure
To request access to a record, please complete the prescribed form (Form C) available on the SAHRC website or the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development website. Submit the completed form, along with proof of payment of the prescribed fee, to the Information Officer at the address or email provided above.
